A record number of young people turned out to help dress this year’s line-up of scarecrows that will hit the streets during the first week of September in preparation for the birthday celebrations in this the 20th anniversary of the award-winning invasion and festival on Friday Sept. 30th.
A second workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, August 24th, 9 a.m. till noon. The date for a third workshop will announced on the scarecrow’s website soon. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
