Scarecrow Website Launch

Thanks to a donation by Vic Michener, MyFavoriteMarketer, the Scarecrow Invasion has a website. For the past few years, we have been grateful to the Municipality for housing our information and keeping us connected with the public. We greatly appreciate the kindness of the Municipality and especially Rob Armstrong. Thank you, Vic, for your design

 

Ruthann Noble

Ruthann Noble’s energetic presence and decorating prowess is renowned in Meaford. Nowhere has that been more evident than in her role as Chair of Decorating of our much loved Invasion. After 4 years at the helm of the Decorating Committee, sadly Ruthann is retiring. We commend her for her enthusiastic leadership, and her tireless work

 

Scarecrow clothing needed

Can You Help? We are in need of clothes Long pants (jeans and overalls). Not too large as it takes too much stuffing. Long sleeve colorful shirts Bright scarves, patches and ties. Any of the above can be dropped off at the Meaford Chamber Office.

It is soon time to start building our famous Meaford Scarecrows! Spring will be here in no time flat. Don’t worry if you’ve never built one.
